Hi,Thats a cool way to do your thumbnails! It adds depth and such to your imagery. :DNumnber 4 would be a really good one to do for your lair.... to me it's showing levels and curiosity. Like that painting where there are stairs everywhere and even though the painting is straight, you walk over the stairs and you turn upside down. o_0Ok... There is a film called Labyrinth - which is so crazy weird - and has the perfect example.https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=stairs+art&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&bpcl=38093640&biw=1366&bih=643&wrapid=tlif135257050574710&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=h5aeUO2BH-bF0QWw4oGYCA#um=1&hl=en&safe=off&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=labyrinth+stairs&oq=labyrinth+stairs&gs_l=img.3..0j0i24.10087.10087.4.102220.127.116.11.0.0.0.127.127.0j1.1.0...0.0...1c.1.r44xDcrgTOY&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&fp=d5c25190632a9e7e&bpcl=38093640&biw=1366&bih=643Like that... Maybe you could portray a thumbnail with that style? :DI really do like your style and the way you draw, and it does remind me of this theme. :D
oh yeah! that'd be a cool idea :) thank you Vicky :)
That seems like a really cool way to do things a great way to get ideas out!like Victoria said number 4 looks like a good one for a lair, I can just imagine at the bottom of the stairs or under the bridge are the eggs of your god.looking good keep them coming!!
thank you George, i like that idea of the eggs under the bridge :)
GREAT thumbnails, Vikki - really energetic - and your blog template is much more chic now. I love the freedom of these thumbnails - nice and loose and impressionistic - 4 is useful in terms of space, but I really like 2 in terms of colour palette.
ill try and develop those 2 further, i found doing my thumbnails this way was a much easier way to get ideas!
