unit 4 process: rendering cilia scene

  1. but one bit of advice - just watch out for the floor plane - see how the intersection between the floor and the individual cillia is very neat - almost as if the cillia are sitting ontop of the floor plane, as opposed to the cillia having pushed up through the floor plane (as trees push up through the earth). In short, consider making the ground around the bases of the cillia seem more effected by the cillia - pushed up, gathered around, wrinkled - not a huge amount, but just enough to blend away some of the cgi-ness... what do you think?

  2. Also - reduce the max distance on your Ambient Occlusion pass. The cillia are looking too grey at the moment. They should be almost white!
